WHO is looking for Early Warning System for Epidemics

Project Description

World Health Organization (WHO) points out vector-borne diseases like Malaria, Zika, Dengue etc take more than 1 million death globally every year.

The challenge is to develop a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective early-warning system prototype to forecast and monitor vector-borne diseases in order to contribute to the prevention of outbreaks, mitigating their impact on local, regional and global scales, and providing support to existing elimination efforts.

The program should include factors like climate data, vector-related modelling, geo-location etc. The prototype should be demonstrated at local level with relevant factors in mind.
